History of the Educational System
The first part of his presentation will look at the history of the education of people of color. The second section will discuss how the present curriculum used in the American educational system contributes to the achievement gap. The third component will cover teacher expectations and the effect of labeling on the performance of students. The final component will discuss possible solutions as well as reading materials and classroom activities one can use to improve situations. |
